Common Features Between Nodes
The previous features in the modules you just completed are features that you will check for and measure between every node. They are the most common features that we collect data on at Smart Access.
This module focuses on additional features that are still quite common but may not be as prevalent or frequently measured as the previous ones. These features, referred to as common features between nodes, are important aspects that occur in the spaces connecting each node along a given path or route. They may not be as common as the features in the module previous to this, however, it is important that you are regularly checking for them.
It is important to note that while the previous features are found AT every node, the features that we are about to look at are found BETWEEN nodes.
Let’s look at this image. We can see that the bus stop is located BETWEEN the intersections, rather than AT the intersection. This will be the same with all the following features.
